Open every day from nine to five.

Visitors must keep in mind that the park has become very big and keeps growing with new walks and displays from year to year.

A normal visit takes two to four hours, although visitors who are very keen on the experience of intimate closeness with the birds and animals (without separating wire), may stay the whole day.

Right at the end of the walk through all the aviaries is a small playground for children under six, should there be extra steam left. And, of course, there is a Tea Garden/Cafeteria.

Regular visitors will greatly benefit from annual membership. World of Birds has close to 1000 members from all over the world, amongst the 100 000 annual visitors.

 Birds

Over 3 000 birds and small animals of 400 different species in walk through aviaries - experience nature up close!

Enjoy a fascinating glimpse into the private lives of birds. Get a close-up view of them as they feed, sing, display, socialise, build nests, incubate eggs and feed chicks right before your eyes - an unforgettable experience which changes with the seasons

SQUIRREL MONKEYS

We have thirty-eight of these attractive, agile and highly inquisitive New World monkeys. They breed well in captivity. They are extremely mischievous and quick. Because they live in a large walkthrough enclosure, which allows visitors to enjoy direct contact with them, they frequently steal visitors' earrings, pens, or anything else that they can reach.
